At TJ Hale, we take a holistic approach to sustainable responsibility through design and development conservation, green manufacturing processes, innovative packaging and distribution efforts, and responsible waste management.
Sustainable Design Development
We rely on a proven collaborative process before fabrication, planning every project's environmental impact. Design development is defined by optimizing waste reduction at every turn. We research each sustainable material alternative before implementation. TJ Hale's design engineering department offers complete lifecycle management, including a complete, end-of-life disposal process.

TJ Hale is FSC® Certified
TJ Hale is proud to offer responsibly sourced fixtures, millwork, and casework. We have Forest Stewardship Council® certification, and we work diligently to meet and exceed FSC® supply chain standards.
The Forest Stewardship Council is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established in 1993 to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.
FSC® certification is considered the gold standard designation for wood harvested from forests that are responsibly managed using socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable policies.
TJ Hale FSC® certified products are available by request only. Please get in touch with your project manager for more details on our ethical sourcing and green manufacturing process.
Responsible Waste Management
Waste is both required and unnecessary at the same time. We take the initiative to optimize waste planning, reutilize materials, recycle unused wood and metal, and refurbish or repair existing fixtures. These efforts contribute on a global scale.
